This innovative feature operates by mirroring the information on the vehicle’s screens. Information is relayed over a series of mirrors with the last mirror being the windshield. The mirrors are curved and set in the windshield, providing a large, rectangular, easy-to-read image that is set far enough over the hood that drivers are able to keep their eyes on the road. The driver will not have to worry about the view of the mirrored information being affected by sun, snow, rain, or fog as it will always display clearly. CONVENIENT AND COOL The HUD is a tech feature that’s not only cool and futuristic, but it’s also a wonderful safety measure so the driver won’t have to take their eyes off the road, literally, to view driving information. Similar to the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, customers will be able to view a 10.1-inch full-color screen that has four available modes: Simple, Standard, Advanced, and Custom. Whichever mode the driver chooses determines how much and what information they deem important to be displayed in the HUD. The driver’s choices include the following layout and vehicle features: current speed and speed limit, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure graphics, Lane Keep Assist warnings, Night Vision warnings, turn-by-turn navigation, and current gear setting.
