Ram Launches Final Phase of the Limited-edition ‘Built to Serve’ Trucks
To show pride and celebrate America’s armed forces, Ram has issued Built to Serve editions of its popular 2021 Ram 1500 pickup truck lineup. Ram Built to Serve editions offer their own unique interior and exterior features meant to honor America’s five branches of the Armed Forces, including a United States flag and a “Built to Serve” decal on each rear quarter panel. This fifth installment is a maritime force-inspired theme with both Spitfire and Bright White exterior colors offered, along with a black interior with orange accent stitching. This installment consists of 500 models in Spitfire and 750 models in Bright White.
EXTERIOR: Built to Serve Edition trucks get customized, stylish exterior cues which include 20-inch aluminum wheels with a unique-to-the-edition Technical Gray finish. Body-color wheel flares also accent the exterior. The new Ram front end features a unique all-black grille and surround black bumpers and black-bezel premium lighting. To complete this bold look are black badges, black wheel-to-wheel side steps, and dual four-inch black exhaust tips. Plus, the 2021 Ram 1500 Built to Serve model features 4×4 Off-Road Group content like heavy-duty off-road-calibrated front and rear shock absorbers, Hill-descent control, plus so much more.
INTERIOR: This particular 2021 Ram 1500 model’s interior displays its owner’s military pride with “Built to Serve” embroidered on Velcro panels on each front seat and additional Velcro panels on each front seat inboard shoulder panel. Buyers can apply their own regimental patches, flags, name tapes, or slogans to personalize their Built to Serve edition. Front seatback panels are covered with Pouch Attachment Ladder System/Modular Lightweight Load-bearing Equipment webbing to attach additional equipment or pouches. Ram 1500 Built to Serve editions also feature Black Onyx Chrome interior trim, instrument panel badge, lockable console storage, deep-bolstered cloth and vinyl sport seats, and convenient all-weather rubber slush mats.
