Best Family Features of the Chrysler Pacifica

January 8th, 2022 by

Not only is the Chrysler Pacifica extremely spacious, but it also has more standard safety features than any vehicle in the industry. There’s room for the whole family and all the toys and luggage you plan on taking on your next trip, and you don’t have to fear the road on your way there. On top of all that, the Chrysler Pacifica is the most awarded minivan for five years straight. Keep reading to find out what the Pacifica’s best features for your family are!

Your family’s safety and security is always top priority. Chrysler had that in mind when creating the new Pacifica. The Chrysler Pacifica comes standard with safety features that automatically engage. These features include pedestrian automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, full-speed forward collision warning, active braking and LaneSense lane departure warning with lane keep assist and Blind Spot monitoring.

Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking

This safety feature provides both audible and visual warnings and applies automatic emergency braking, allowing you to come to a full stop if needed.

Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control uses sensors to help maintain a preset distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. This means your car will brake to slow down with the car ahead and speed back up to your set speed when they’re no longer in front of you.

Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking System

Pedestrians can sometimes come out of nowhere. Maybe they’re ninjas or maybe it’s just late at night and they’re harder to see. Either way, with the Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking System, your vehicle will automatically brake when someone walks out in front of your Chrysler Pacifica.

Infotainment

One of the greatest tools you can add to your best is the infotainment system. The 10.1-inch touchscreen display is standard on all models and harbors an integrated voice-command system with Bluetooth streaming, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, Aux and USB ports. Things get even better if you opt for the Uconnect Family Theater Group rear-seat entertainment system that now has Amazon Fire TV. This gives passengers the ability to watch downloaded programs, stream videos, listen to music and play games on the road. Fire TV is connected via a mobile device hotspot or the in-vehicle 4G Wi-Fi hotspot. It comes with 16 GB of storage for each of the two rear displays, allowing passengers to watch downloaded content even where there is no internet connectivity. Content can be watched separately or the displays can be mirrored. The system can be controlled from the front seat to keep an eye on the content being consumed or the apps being used and to stop or pause an activity.

Keep it clean

Keep your minivan free of crumbs and all those other messes that seem to pop up with the available Stow ‘n Vac integrated vacuum powered by RIDGID, the most powerful integrated vacuum available in its class. The Stow ‘n Vac is conveniently located mid-cabin and is retractable for easy storage. With it’s expandable hose it can reach every corner of the Pacifica so no mess is out of reach.

Seating Options

The Chrysler Pacifica offers 81 different seating configurations and more cargo space than a full-size SUV! Altogether, the Pacifica has seven seats including driver and passenger front seats, two second-row bucket seats and a three-person third-row bench. What’s cool is, with the Stow ‘N Go system, you can remove the second-row seats and stow the third-row into the floor allowing an incredible amount of extra room.
